ABOUT ME
As an experienced leader, corporate director, and public speaker, I am thrilled to now offer training in these areas. I have a diverse background, which includes an MBA in Banking and Finance from Maastricht School of Management, and many other education credentials as well as extensive travel to over seventy countries across all continents, has equipped me with a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing organizations today.
With a proven track record in board governance, I am well-positioned to guide organizations in enhancing their governance practices. My experience spans numerous boards, committees, and industry associations worldwide, including the Canada-Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia. These international experiences have given me valuable insights into the cross-cultural aspects of developing and maintaining successful global organizations.
Throughout my career, I have held various leadership roles, including President and CEO of multiple organizations in several sectors over the past two decades. As a Certified Corporate Director, I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge of governance standards and processes across a range of industries, providing practical strategies for effective governance.
My career thus far has included roles in Industry Canada and leadership positions such as Canadian Investment Advisor to Indonesia, President Director of P.T. Palliser Indonesia, and CEO and Managing Director of Cool Energy Limited in Australia. Upon returning to Canada, I took on leadership positions at Carbon Partners Limited, focusing on advanced environmental technologies, and at Confederation Centre of the Arts in Prince Edward Island, where I was recognized as one of Atlantic Canada's Top 50 CEOs for three consecutive years.
